Apple Pie with Carob Powder
Ingredients: 5 golden apples, 12 tablespoons of strong flour, 6 eggs, 32gr baking
powder, 10 tablespoons of white sugar, 8 tablespoons of sunflower oil, 70gr butter and 1
tablespoon of carob powder.
Preparation an d cooking process: Spread butter all over the baking tray. Cut in slices
the apples and put the slices on the tray. Mix the rest of the ingredients in a bowl, a part
from the carob powder and the 70gr of butter, pour the mixture on the tray. Bake it for
20 minutes at 180ºC.
When it’s time, take the tray out from of the oven and cover the result with the
following mix: 70gr of butter, 2 eggs and 2 tablespoons of white sugar. Bake it all
together for 5 more minutes and sprinkle the apple pie with carob powder.
